The next step is setting up the DNS settings, and for this we recommend that you use a free Cloudflare account to handle the DNS changes required.

Using CloudFlare:

Using Cloudflare is the recommended option here, because it provides you with a free lifetime SSL certificate, in addition to other security and performance features provided by Cloudflare.

In order to setup the custom domain name or subdomain, please follow these steps :

Step 1 : Create a Cloudflare account and Setup your website.

(skip to step 2 if you already have a Cloudflare account)

Creating a CloudFlare account and setting up your website is fairly straight forward, please follow this 3 step official tutorial :

Step 2 : Adding the CNAME record.

From within your Cloudflare account, navigate to your domain's DNS settings.

Click the + Add record button.

To use your root domain name:

Select "CNAME" in the first dropdown field
enter "@" in the second field
and enter the value provided in your Wishloop dashboard into the third field.

Then click "Add Record"

To use a subdomain,

Select "CNAME",
enter your subdomain name in the second field, if you want to use "subdomain.site.com" for example, enter "subdomain"
and enter the value provided in your Wishloop account, in the third field.

Then click "Add Record"

IMPORTANT: Please make sure the "cloud" icon under the "Status" column, is grey instead of orange, you can switch the status by clicking on the icon.

All you need to do now is to wait for DNS settings to propagate.
